Biography
At PMA Health I have found a medical team that is focused on providing excellent patient centered care, a characteristic aligned with my own view of how delivery of care should be: “Treat one the same way you would like to be treated”.
Originally from Romania, I moved to the United States in 2008. I have earned my first Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy from Romania. I continued my education with a second Bachelor and then a Master in Science of Nursing both from Howard University. I am nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and as a Medical Examiner by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. I speak English, Spanish, and Romanian fluently.
As a family practitioner I have developed a practice focused on health promotion and risk reduction. My goal is to decrease the need for acute medical care and to help my clients achieve their optimal level of health. Patients seeking help with their chronic and acute illnesses can turn to me for a compassionate and person centered care. I also offer minor surgical services such as abscess cleaning, suturing, and shot administration.
When I am not at work, you will most likely find me mountain biking, hiking, or playing tennis. After all, I consider that the best medical providers should be free of cost. These are Dr. Rest, Dr. Sunlight, Dr. Physical Exercise and Dr. Healthy Food. Have you met them lately?
