Biography

Kara grew up in Reston, VA and attended Herndon High school. After high school she went to James Madison University for her Bachelor’s degree. After graduating she spent two years working as an EMT in the Emergency room at Reston Hospital Center. Knowing she wanted to continue her career path in Medicine she headed to Alabama to attend UAB’s Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 2007. Since then she has worked in the Emergency Departments at Prince William Hospital and then Inova Fair Oaks before joining PMA Immediate Care. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and dog.
