Personal Interests

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Maaty enjoys spending her free time playing the violin. Throughout the year she performs with the NIH Philharmonia.

Biography

Dr. Maaty is a native of the DMV area. Staying close to home, Dr. Maaty completed her undergraduate and medical education at George Washington University. She then went on to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the George Washington University Hospital. In addition to her passion for Critical Care, she is interested in resident education as well as Global Health.
